Between February 2017 and August 2018, Lam also worked as the financial controller, company secretary and an authorised representative of Rich Goldman, and has experience working for international accounting firms and other listed businesses in Hong Kong with experience in the real estate and financial industries.

Lam has entered into a service agreement with Rich Goldman as an executive director with no specific term, effective as of 6 July.

Under the agreement, he is entitled to receive a fixed salary of HK$754,000 (£70,212/€82,140/$97,071) per annum, as determined by the company’s board based on his performance, experience, duties and responsibilities, as well as prevailing market conditions.

In February, Rich Goldman announced a profit warning to its shareholders and potential investors, after travel restrictions in Macau halted its junket operations throughout 2020.
