Novomatic has announced that its global sales division is to take over the sales management of Ainsworth in Europe. Last year, Novomatic shareholders approved the purchase of a 53% stake in Ainsworth and the company said this latest move is in line with a “strategic commitment to strengthen the sales force, product offering and customer support of Ainsworth”. Lawrence Levy, vice-president of global sales at Novomatic, will lead Ainsworth sales in Europe with support from Sonya Nikolova, who has headed up the sales for Novomatic in Central and Eastern Europe. “Customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships within the gaming industry has been an immense motivation of mine for many years,” Nikolova said. “I am committed to enforcing my deep industry expertise and knowledge to the development and popularisation of the Ainsworth brand in Europe, as well as to collaborate intensively with my colleagues to improve customer support and product competitiveness.” Roman Czubak, who previously worked in research and development, project management and sales roles at Novomatic, will now assume responsibilities in Nikolova’s existing position. Both Czubak and Nikolova will report directly to Levy. Czubak said: “For me, this appointment means returning to a sales function with the great responsibility of further building and strengthening the Novomatic brand in this core market.” Related article: Novomatic to push Ainsworth deal after shareholder approval
