Ninja Casino operator Global Gaming has given its approval to a number of new appointments to its board of directors, following a proposal put forward by Baltic-facing operator Enlabs. Earlier this week, Enlabs recommended several appointments to a new Global board, after its recent acquisition of a significant stake in the operator. In June, Enlabs agreed to purchase a further 11.3m shares in Global at a price of SEK8 per share, valuing the deal at around SEK90.4m (£7.9m/€8.8m/$10.4m). Enlabs holds a total of 12.2m shares in Global – it the largest shareholder in the operator with a 29.9% stake. As such, Enlabs put forward a number of appointments to a new Global board, including Niklas Braathen, current chairman of Enlabs’ board, to also become chair of the new-look Global board. Christian Rasmussen, Michael Niklasson and Jonas Bertilsson were also named as possible appointments, while Enlabs recommended that Arne Reinemo be reappointed to the board. At an extraordinary general meeting held yesterday (6 August) in Stockholm, Sweden, Global unanimously voted to approve all of the appointments.
